We are excited to announce that the 9th ‘World Maps and World Cultures’ Online Symposium, jointly organized by Tsinghua IWLC and SOAS (UK), will be held on 22-23 April 2025. The theme of the symposium is ‘Virtual Spaces and New Horizons: Humanities in the Digital Age.’ Six panels have been lined up, comprising 28 presenters, focusing on cutting-edge topics in Digital Art, Digital Poetics, Technology, Languages, Translation, AI, and more.

Among the presenters are two CUHK PhD candidates, Chenghan GAO and Yixiang LI, who will be presenting their latest research.
