Prof. Xuenan Cao, Assistant Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, critical AI and media scholar.

About the talk:
Posthumanism and the figure of the cyborg are tied to the media history of the US. How would non-Western visions differ?
The talk features two contributions, one on the Soviet Union and another on China, on the scientific developments that inform artificial intelligence today.
