HEYTA 2024: A Memorable Academic Feast

HEYTA 2024 was an incredibly enjoyable and fruitful experience, thanks to the University of Exeter’s excellent organization. We partook in an academic feast covering diverse topics, from artificial intelligence to heritage education and sustainable development goals.
The event fostered collaboration and friendship among students from British universities and other Chinese institutions. Our presentations struck a balance between academic rigor and public accessibility, aiming to convey our thoughts through an interdisciplinary lens.
The organizers provided rich cultural experiences, including a Scottish social dance and a trip to the seaside town of Exmouth. While ensuring the conference agenda stayed on track, they also allowed us ample freedom to explore, including city walks.
These few days in Exeter were undoubtedly the most unforgettable of my 2024. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Chinese University of Hong Kong for their sponsorship and for offering me this precious opportunity to attend HEYTA 2024.
